Lauren Bard is that very rare thing: an Austin native. She grew up in the Zilker and Barton Hills neighborhoods and continues to live and work in South Austin. She has deep roots in the Central Austin community and a real love of Austin’s unique culture.

Lauren became a Realtor in 2001 and spent 2 years specializing in the leasing, property management and rental investment end of the business. In 2003, she made a shift to real estate sales and earned an ABR. This is a special designation which indicates that the Realtor is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and is specially trained in meeting the needs of home buyers. Lauren also took a position as Listings Marketing Manager with Turner Residential from 2003 -2005, which gave her extensive experience in representing home sellers. Lauren prides herself on being a full-spectrum agent who has experience representing both buyers and sellers as well as leasing, property management and investment real estate.

She truly enjoys her job and gets a deep sense of satisfaction from finding the right house for the client. It’s a joy to be of help to someone in such a real way as finding them their home. She also enjoys helping sellers to maximize their homes potential in the Austin market.

Lauren is the mom of 2 amazing kids and is a frequent volunteer at their school, Sri Atmananda Memorial School. She’s an avid traveler, reader and knitter and is prone to taking up (and then discarding) hobbies as diverse as belly-dancing, yoga, triathlons, candle-making, martial arts or tie-dying.
