Joaquin Hancock

Tommy Joaquin Hancock was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 14, 1961 to Tommy and Charlene Hancock. As a youngster, Joaquin and his siblings embraced their parents' musical tradition and began traveling and playing together around 1970. Their journey eventually landed The Supernatural Family Band in Austin, where they immediately embraced the rich cultural diversity and natural beauty found in this growing Hill Country city.

After becoming a naturalized Austinite in 1980, Joaquin continued to play music and explore opportunities for personal growth and development. Joaquin met his wife Marty in Austin and they soon settled down in Barton Hills. While he and Marty were starting a family of their own, Joaquin began a career in education, earning a degree from The University of Texas, and working in classrooms at Barton Hills Elementary School, Zilker Elementary School, and Lamar Middle School.

Along with his wife and partner, Joaquin has been investing in real estate for over ten years. They share a love of design and development as well as conscientious stewardship of all that makes Austin a beautiful place to live. Their two daughters, Jewel and Avalon, attend St. Edwards University and The Khabele School respectively.

In 2005, Joaquin was licensed by The Texas Real Estate Commission as a salesperson and began offering services as an agent through Kaleido Properties. Joaquin specializes in personal service and attention to detail.

Joaquin's interests include music, basketball, disc golf and travel. Joaquin is active in The Prem Rawat Foundation, Barton Hills Neighborhood Association, the NAACP and other civic and environmental organizations.
